I would like to thank the whole team at Purple Heart Wishes for giving myself and my two children the opportunity to live like celebrities for a few days at Rockliffe Hall. The flowers and sweet treats on arrival were also a lovely surprise.
As I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer now, my life expectancy is limited, and I am trying to make as many memories as possible with my two children. However, without the charity granting us a wish to go and stay at Rockliffe Hall for a couple of nights with meals and drinks all included, we would never have managed to go.
Thank you so much for making this dream come true for the three of us, we had an amazing time and have lots of special photos to remember our stay together. I would like to give a special shout out to Mark for checking in with me throughout the process and messaging on the day to say have a lovely time. I think what you do for others is amazing.

I would love to thank Purple Heart wishes so much. Words cannot express how much they have done for myself and my family.
My husband (Harry) became unwell in in April 2021 and was sadly diagnosed with stage 4 carcinoma of the lung. We were told he was terminal. We wanted to enjoy Christmas early as we had been told he wouldn’t make it to Christmas and we have 3 children aged 15, 10 & 9.
Purple Heart Wishes sent us lots of Christmas decorations to put up, they also sent a huge food hamper as going out for meals wasn’t an option unfortunately. Sadly my husband passed away on 26th November 2021. Purple Heart Wishes organised for myself and my daughter to receive my husband’s fingerprint on a ring and also my two boys to get their dads fingerprint on dog tags with a chain. Now my kids can have their dad everywhere they go.
No words can describe how much this means to us, so from the bottom of our hearts. Thank You
After making contact with the amazing team at Purple Heart Wishes, they quickly turned a dream into a reality. They went above and beyond, in making it an extra special Christmas. I am terminally ill with a 14 year old son and dog.
We soon found ourselves going on an adventure to the Cotswolds staying in a beautiful mobile home at Cotswold Hoburne. There was a Christmas tree and lovely hamper on arrival, as well as a fridge stocked with goodies. Purple Heart Wishes organised everything to its absolute best. Christmas lunch was cooked and delivered to us on Christmas Day.
When I thought that they could not do anything more for us, both my son and I were presented with some amazing Christmas gifts. My son was given a laptop to be able to do his school work and I received all the things girls love.
I cannot thank them enough, for giving us the chance to make lasting memories. Without the charity none of this would have been possible’
We arranged a trip to London for a lady who had suffered with cystic fibrosis for many years and was now receiving palliative care for her illness. Her wish was to visit Buckingham Palace. We did more than that: we managed to arrange transport to and from London, including a hotel for 2 nights, travel around London, and dinner at Marco Pierre White’s restaurant, and a London Pass to visit as many attractions as possible.
Macmillan Nurses in Swindon contacted us about a lady who was suffering from pancreatic cancer She wanted a small break with her husband and children, so we organised a week-long stay at the beautiful Cotswold WaterMark Club. They enjoyed a weekend of beauty treatments, a trip to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, and the whole experience was an amazing adventure.
One of Lyndsey’s lifetime dreams was to travel through Thailand and Vietnam, so we raised over £25,000 pounds to send her on a trip of a lifetime. Lyndsey’s illness prevented her from staying any longer than 3 weeks, but she had an incredible time and loved it - she didn’t want to come back. Lyndsey survived 18 months after that trip and we filled everyday with fun, laughter and lots of amazing experiences.
After Lyndsey’s passing we decided that instead of raising money for brain tumour research, we wanted to create a charity to give other adults suffering from terminal illnesses the chance to fulfil their dreams, just as Lyndsey had.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to the Team at Purple Heart Wishes. Thanks to all of you I was able to take my son and his girlfriend with me to Anfield on Wednesday 31st August to watch a live premiership league football match against Newcastle.
I have fond memories as a single Mum of taking him as a boy to Anfield as a special treat. The last match we had been too prior to Wednesday was 17 years ago for my birthday. We lost 1-0 to Chelsea!
We had an amazing time on Wednesday and the winning goal in the 98th minute truly made for very special memories for us all.

Thank you to everyone at Purple Heart Wishes. Thanks to your kind donation, you enabled the family to spend a few precious days away in paradise, in an adapted lodge at Center Parcs Woburn.
The break allowed my Dad to have independence and peace surrounded by his loved ones.
It was also a chance for my daughter and Dad to share their first holiday together and create so many happy memories. The image of Dad submerged in the hot tub with his family is truly a memory we will all keep forever. He was smiling the entire weekend and we are all so incredibly grateful. Thank you again ❤️❤️
We cannot thank Purple Heart Wishes enough for our recent trip to Legoland. My husband, myself and three children were living our normal life when a routine blood test showed the possibility that I might have myeloma (a type of incurable blood cancer). Further tests revealed that this was sadly the reality and our life turned upside down. I had to explain the diagnosis to our three young children and cancel our Florida holiday that we had planned for 5 years.
Purple Heart Wishes gave us a welcome short break and well needed family time. We had a great time and built so many happy memories which took our minds off the reality for a short time - thank you Purple Heart Wishes it meant so much to us.
I have a life threatening/limiting skin condition and on my bucket list, I wanted to meet Ronan Keating as I’m a huge fan of his.
I was put in contact with Purple Heart Wishes, who help make wishes happen for terminally ill adults. I contacted them asking if they could arrange a VIP meet and greet with Ronan as I was going to see Ronan in concert on 3rd July, in Cardiff.
I was absolutely delighted when I had an email saying my wish had come true. It was fantastic meeting Ronan. It was an amazing night. He’s absolutely lovely to talk too and I managed to give him my message that I’ve been longing to give, that was, his music helps me through the tough times. He said thank you. I was worried that I’d clam up but I didn’t 🙂
